Katie & Chris: Engagement
Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:22 PM It's going to be a busy week here on the blog. I have so much to share....lots of events and some awesome couples! I know I'm a bit out of order here, but I am just so excited to share these photos....
Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Chris & Katie. They are getting married on NEW YEAR'S EVE and I can't wait to bring in the New Year with them and all of their friends and family! We wandered around one of my favorite places, Uptown Westerville, for their Engagement session. I like to revisit some of the same places for photo sessions because it challenges me to find new corners and angles to keep things fresh. And with such a gorgeous couple, my job is just too easy :)
Take a look:

See what I mean? With clients this beautiful, all I need is a bit of good light and I'm INSPIRED!
Later this week and into next, you can expect to see ANOTHER fantastic Engagement session, TWO incredible Weddings, and a fun Portrait session.

Wow! Your photos are just amazing! You would never know it was Westerville from looking at your photos because of the creative way in which you used the locations. I also like the various perspectives you use instead of shooting all of them just straight on. You definitely inspire me!
What a fine series, Chantal! Your inventiveness and sheer creativity shine through all the shots. You've created a wonderful variety. The pictures convey "romance is in the air" and show their love and anticipation of things to come! Fine work indeed!
Interesting perspectives. I'm always look for interesting ways to shoot the same thing. You've done a good job here. I like your take on the ring shot!

A great series for them to remember that special day. I especially like the two toned B/W ones and the one from above.
