Dear Blog Readers...

You're probably wondering why I haven't posted in so long. I know I've been neglecting my blog, and for that I am truly sorry. My blog has been such an incredible friend to me over the past few years...a constant encouragement, an outlet, a release. We've been through a lot together.

First, it simply served to collect my random ramblings. I used to write all the time...some of it was actually readable. Blogging provided me with a forum to unleash a creative side within me that I thought had long vanished. You held my hand through a reawakening, of sorts.

Then my blog and I evolved together. I began adding pictures. My images that I made. I was reminded that my passion for still pictures was important and valuable. My blog provided for me an avenue that explored this rebirth of my imagination. I suddenly had a voice and an audience. I found myself again, at a time when I hardly noticed that I was lost.

And then a business was born. And my blog became my storefront. I was able to turn my life's passion into something more. It became my way of life, a livelihood, where I can bring joy and happiness to other people and to my family as well. Blogging gave me my confidence, my canvas, and my voice.

Now the time has come to evolve once more. Somewhere during this journey, my voice, my words, began to quiet. I saw things more, but I said them less. And it's made me sad. I love words. I love language and poetry and the cadence of a carefully constructed phrase. I love how one part of my brain can be completely stimulated by one art form, while another part can also be tickled by yet another medium. There's no reason to choose only one. For one can only enhance and benefit the other. And for that reason, I have chosen to devote myself to both forms of creativity that my mind so deeply craves.

And you, my dear Blog Readers, will receive my Love Letters frequently, so that we can continue to explore, create, and grow together. Love Letters... to you, to a friend, a loved one, a fellow artist, or a complete stranger. This blog will become my notebook from which my Love letters will grow.
